He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Nora Keegan; his children, Scott (Pavica), Kerry (Michael) and Andrew (Claudia); his grandchildren, Vesna, Danijel, Erika, William and Michael; and his great grandchildren, Dominik and Katarina.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation or the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence.

“With great sadness we learnt that Larry had passed away. He was a friend and neighbour of around 35 years. He was the best of persons, kind, considerate, non-judgemental, and always willing to help. I enjoyed our conversations over the years; the well-being of his family was most important as he spoke so fondly of all his children. He enjoyed all the "big boy" toys; power boat, sail-boat, caravan, sea-doo, canoe and even a corvette. He will be truly missed and remembered with much fondness.”
