“We were saddened to hear our good friend Bob Kouri passed away... In fact we had been trying to reach out to him for months...always getting the message that his mailbox was full... Our friendship goes back to the RMGC where my husband worked in the back shop and Bob & Joan hosted a thank you breakfast for the staff. We became fast friends & shared many great times over breakfasts & family parties. We know he is reunited with his love Joan. We will miss him ♥️ Carmine & Louise Apa.”

“I echo Dean Carola's sympathies to the family. I met Robert and Joan about 6 years ago at the first of many McGill SCS functions. Such a fascinating couple, and what champions of education! At every subsequent meeting, they'd recall previous conversations and ask for updates. I was particularly impressed by Robert's vigor after his beloved Joan had passed; within minutes of seeing me at an event, he was inviting me to his book launch party! I was gutted to learn of his passing. RIP Mr. Kouri.”
