He was predeceased by: his brother Ramesh. He is survived by: his wife Nandini (Rajani); his sons, Amol (Raquel) and Rahul (Betsy); his grandchildren, Raiya, Ishan, Aria, Sunil and Roshan; his sister-in-law Sandhya; and his brothers, Naresh (Reynah) and Mahesh (Kiran). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Jewish General Hospital Foundation with special consideration for the Cardiology Unit.
