He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Gallagher and Dorothy Gallagher; his wife Joan Gallagher; and his sister Mary (Rick Johnston). He is survived by: his sons, Michael (late Joan Turner) and James (Mélika St-Jean); his grandchildren, Emma (Nick) and Noah; and his siblings, Tom (Anna Mary), Anne (Larry LePage), Harold (Barbara), Michael (Sharon), Elizabeth McHale (Jim), Paul (Collette) and Laura (Len) of Bruyn. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and many good friends.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Église St-Pierre (529 Rue Baume, Fort-Coulonge, QC J0X1V0).
