He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Ruth Briand; his children, Elizabeth Richard (Jean-Serge Richard) and John (Heather Barton); his sister Iona Kennedy; his brother-in-law Morris Kennedy; and his sibling's children, Bridget Kennedy and Andrew Kennedy.
