She is survived by: her child Lorraine Emmerson (Brent); her grandchildren, Allan Emmerson (Mélanie Cloutier) and Leslie Emmerson (Sébastien Mauviel); her great grandchildren, Katherine Emmerson and Émilie Emmerson; her siblings, Ruby, Mabel, Rena Hetherington, Fern Ellis and Isaac Hetherington; her siblings' children, David Ellis (Cathy), Keith Ellis (Christine), Samantha Ellis, Matthew Ellis, Mandy Ellis and Tanya Ellis; her sibling-in-law Rolande Barnes (late Billy); and her children, Elaine, Fred and Jimmy.
