As Sheila departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Sheila. Though Sheila may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Duncan MacTavish and Doris MacTavish (Roberts); and her sister Brenda (late Burt McHardy). She is survived by: her significant other Larry Kennedy; and her siblings, Garry (late Joan Clark), Reid (late Debbie Mott), Dale (late Burt Bates), Kim (Ken Westgate), Richard (Darlene Bates) and Colleen (Tim Kirkpatrick). She is also survived by her loving family, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, in-laws.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Grenville Community Centre (21 Rue Tri Jean, Grenville, QC J0V1B0).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Calumet Protestant Cemetery, 223 rue des Érables, Grenville-Sur-La-Rouge, QC J0V 1B0 or a charity of your choice.
