With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerard Thomas Shawennatson Barone (Kahnawake, Québec), who passed away on June 2, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sibling-in-law Peter Taylor; and his parent Samuel Barone, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Theresa Aonwentsiio Taylor; his son Thomas Barone; his siblings, Wanthea Maureen Moss and Samuel Jay Barone; his siblings-in-law, James Taylor, Gail Taylor, Lori Taylor, Christine Taylor (Kahnawake), Winnie Taylor and Beatrice Taylor; his parent Violette Hall Jocks; and also Anthony Karontatsi Barone. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and so many friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Francis Xavier Mission or the Kateri Memorial Hospital Foundation.
