With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Antonio Parente (Laval, Québec), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 18, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Giuseppe Parente and Rosa Parente. He is survived by: his wife Maria Parente (Pontillo); his children, Dora (Gervasio) and Mauro (Nina); his grandchildren, Alessandro (Erica), Alysia, Sarah (Nikolas), Nicholas and Samantha; his brothers, Pietro (Giuseppina) and Mario; and his pets, Winter, Pogo and Henry. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Délia-Tétreault Chapel of the Cemetery of Laval. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Complexe Funéraire Cimetière de Laval (5505 Rang du Bas-Saint-François, Laval, QC H7E4P2).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
