She was predeceased by: her husband Artur De Fontes; and her daughter Paula De Fontes. She is survived by: her children, Alfredo (Nancy), Arthur, Eusebio (Maria) and Nelly; her grandchildren, Justin, Jeffrey, Matthew, Cristina, Christopher, Stephanie, Jessica, Sabrina, Vanessa, Kimberly, Selena and Nathan; and her sisters, Lurdes (Antonio) and Silvina. She is also survived by her fifteen great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Complexe Yves Légaré Laval (1350 A. Chomedey, Laval, QC H7X3W9). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Église Notre-Dame-De-Fatima (1815 Rue Favreau, Laval, QC H7T2H1).
