Though Cleanthis may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Cleanthis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Anastasia Katsifaraki Vassiliou; his children, Demetra (Dennis) and Nick (Christina); his grandchildren, Alexander and Sophia; and his siblings, Anna and Praxou. He is also survived by his in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as by all other family and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, February 19th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 20th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church (4865 Chem. du Souvenir, Laval, QC H7W1E1).
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Ladies Philoptohos of Holy Cross Foundation would be appreciated.
