It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elias Dourakis (Laval, Québec), who passed away on January 15, 2026, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Mourelatos Dourakis; his children, Spyros (Vilelmini) and Eugenia; his grandchildren, Ilias and Alkisti-Zoi; his mother-in-law Constantinos (Eugenia Mourelatos); his siblings, Vagelis, Panagiotis (Maria) and Vasiliki; and his siblings-in-law, Nicole and Theodoros.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, January 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Complexe Funéraire Yves Légaré (1350 A. Chomedey, Laval, QC H7X3W9). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church (4865 Chem. du Souvenir, Laval, QC H7W1E1).
