She was predeceased by: her parents, Lauréat Ouimet and Gabrielle Joly. She is survived by: her daughters, Danielle (Steinar) and Gabrielle (Brian); her grandchildren, Kristjan, Gabriela, Alexander and Robert; and her brothers, Gérard (Denise) and Philippe (late Louise). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, as well as other relatives and friends.

Expressions of sympathy may be made through sending flowers to the complex or donations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada.
