With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sperenta Marta Popescu Marouf (Laval, Québec), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 17, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ion Popescu and Eketerina Popescu. She is survived by: her husband Salim Marouf; her children, Ruba, Najwa, Randa (Ghazwan Tayfour), Elham (Toufic Rahman) and Ahmad; her grandchildren, Tulin (Ali Daryaei), Nermine, Yasmine (Khaled Challah), Karam, Tarek, Ziad, Emad, Marta and Salim Jr.; and her great grandchild Noah Challah. She is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex (2500 Av. des Perron, Laval, QC H7J 1G5). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
