We are sad to announce that, on April 11, 2026, Russell Norman Lister (McMasterville, Québec) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Russell leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Russell may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Lister and Thelma Kirkpatrick. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Palmer; his sisters, Gail Kilpatrick (Darrell) and Myrna Leard (late Fred); his siblings-in-law, Craig Palmer (Penelope) and Judy Palmer (Alain Duminy); and his pet Nikki. He is also survived by several cousins and boyhood friends.

Donations in his memory may be made to the SPCA Montérégie, an organization Russ supported wholeheartedly.
