Alexander touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Joany; his parents, Jean Irvine and Hartland MacDougall Paterson; and his sister Katherine Chafe. He is survived by: his children, Robb (Heather), Tim (Lynda), Angie (Peter) and Alex (Eva-Lott); his grandchildren, Alex Paterson (Ginger), Jean Criddle (Dylan), Tara Paterson (Justine), Mimi Byers (Chris), Robb Arndt (Michelle), Channing Arndt, Ellie Olsen (Ryan) and Seb Paterson (Linda); and his sister-in-law Barbara Atkinson of Vero Beach. He is also survived by his grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
