She was predeceased by: her parents, Assunta Cherniak (Italiano) and John Cherniak; and her husband Mark D. Lonergan. She is survived by: her caregiver NJ; her son Michael R. Lonergan (Caroline); her grandchildren, Erin, Ryan and Garrett; her son Brian M. Lonergan (Marella); her grandchildren, Isabella and Alex; her son Patrick D. Lonergan (Basia); her grandchildren, Julianna, Alina and Luke; her sisters, Lorraine (Rodney Green) and Diane Kirkpatrick (Tony Boettger); her nibling Tracy Dwyer; and her brother John Cherniak (Shirley Blaney).

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Valley Memorial Funeral Home (1012 Valley Rd, Gillette, NJ 07933).
