With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anthony Olshefsky (Montréal, Québec), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2026 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Anthony farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Anthony is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carol and Lillian Anthony (Dan); and his grandson Michael Aponte (Rebecca). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Complexe Funéraire Loreto (4975 Boulevard des Grandes-Prairies, Saint-Léonard, QC H1R1A5). A funeral Mass was held on Sunday, March 1st 2026 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
