He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Evelyn Butler; his son Rob (Robert); his daughter-in-law Nancy; his grandchildren, Abigail, Jonathan and Olivia; his siblings, Wilma Alexandra (George) and John (Bonnie); his siblings' children, Paul Dunford, Brian Dunford and Shannon Junker; his siblings-in-law, James Butler (Gertie Mai Muise), Gwendolyn Butler, Mollie Butler and Peggy; his former wife Jackie (Jacqueline); his son Clayton; his brother James (Nicole); and his parents, Eric Dunford and Joy Dunford.
