He was predeceased by: his wife Rhoda Kanofsky; his siblings, Joseph (Vera), Sam (Esther), Lou (Sybil) and Hymie; his brother-in-law Sam Kanofsky; his parents, Benjamin Ornstein and Rachel Ornstein; his mother-in-law Annie Kanofsky; and his child-in-law Rabbi Martin Penn.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sheila (Marvin Braude), Eileen (Julian Lewin) and Bonnie (Don Chazan); his girlfriend Adeline Slapcoff; and his siblings-in-law, Recia, Howard Bell and Florence Kanofsky.
