He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Blackett and Murielle Blackett; and his wife Christine Blackette. He is survived by: his children, Terrence and Melissa; and his sister Jeanne Robinson (Reg).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Monica's Parish (6405 Rue de Terrebonne, Montréal, QC H4B1A8). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. Monica's Parish Catholic Church (6405 Rue de Terrebonne, Montréal, QC H4B1A8). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 2:15 PM at the Notre-Dame-Des-Neiges Cemetery (4601 Chem. de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montréal, QC H3V1E7).
