It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Concetta (Caputo) Buono (Montréal, Québec), who passed away on October 27, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Concetta departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Concetta. Though Concetta may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Giovanni Caputo. She is survived by: her daughters, Anna (Basil), Filomena (Francesco) and Antonietta (Domenico); and her grandchildren, Joe (Audrey), Cristina, Arturo (Brooke) and Sabrina (Kesi). She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex (10300 Bd Pie-IX, Montréal-Nord, QC H1H3Z1). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pompei Church (2875 Rue Sauvé E, Montréal, QC H2B1C6).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation or to The Sun Youth Foundation.
