He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Simone; his children, Leana and Sandro; and his parents, Rabbi Joseph and Soulika Azerrad.

A funeral service was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Paperman & Sons (3888 Rue Jean-Talon O, Montréal, QC H3R2G8).
