He was predeceased by: his brother Donald; and his brother-in-law Paul Cadieux. He is survived by: his husband Gregg Blachford; his sisters, Jane Reid (Russ) and Cathy Cadieux; his sister-in-law Peggy McGillivray; and also, Barb (Vaughn) and Jennifer (Joe). He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews and 15 great nieces and nephews, six children and four grandchildren along with scores of good friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A reception will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in David's memory may be made to the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation (https://secure.fondationduchildren.com), to the Alzheimer's Society of Montreal or to Dans La Rue.
