He is survived by: his children, Jerry (Luanne), Carolyn (Ian) and Tracey (Steve); his grandchildren, Leanne, Shane, Brett, Jayden, Vanessa and Braxton; his sibling's children, Doug Jr., Kevin, Rick, Mervyn and Brenda; and his wife Shirley.

We loved and respected Doug both before Alzheimer's and after.
