She was predeceased by: her parents, Elka Gurman and Pesach Gurman; her husband George Better; and her siblings, Ida (Abe Stoffmaker), Goldie (Gordon Shore) and Yaacov (Hava Eliav).
She is survived by: her children, Joel (Gloria Liederman) and Cheryl (Peter Vockathaler); her grandchildren, Ellie Liederman, Mark Lapowich, Ari Liederman, Adam Liederman, Rebecca Colman, Mindy Vockathaler and Brian Vockathaler; her great grandchildren, Megan, Samantha Lapowich, Miriam, Breana Liederman, Raya, Isaac and Etta Liederman; and her sister Beatrice (Nathan Gurman).
