As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Elda may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

She was predeceased by: her daughter Irena. She is survived by: her husband Donato Addona; her son Gianni (Susan); and her grandchildren, Massimo, Claudia, Julie and David. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends.

A funeral service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, May 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Complexe Funéraire Loreto (4975 Boulevard des Grandes-Prairies, Saint-Léonard, QC H1R1A5). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Mont Carmel (7645 Rue du Mans, Saint-Léonard, QC H1S2A1). A burial was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at the Repos St-François D'Assise Cemetery (6893 R. Sherbrooke E, Montréal, QC H1N1C7).
