She is survived by: her children, Marla Newton (Michael Chartrand) and Richard Solomon (Dianne Lyons); her grandsons, Matthew and Marshall Newton; her sister Barbara (Morton Glickman); and her siblings-in-law, Ruth and Peter Scherzer. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews.
