She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Tarder; her daughter Mandy Tarder-Kadaner (Humphrey Kadaner); and her mother Annie. She is survived by: her daughter Marcy Tarder-Stoll (Neal Stoll); her sister Freda; and her brother-in-law Irving Greenberg.

Donations in Esther's memory may be made to the MS Society of Canada, the Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research, or to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
