We are sad to announce that on May 16, 2026, Fred McCoy (Montréal, Québec) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Fred has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Speicher; his children, Kevin (Gilles) and Heather (Philippe); his sister Ann Howie (Bill); and his grandchildren, Megan and Olivier.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of the Funeral Complex. A reception will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Fred's memory may be made to La Maison St-Raphaël, to the Oncology Department at St. Mary's Hospital Foundation, or to the Montreal SPCA.
