He was predeceased by: his mother Evelyn Elias Wardini. He is survived by: his wife Suha Afif Matar; his children, Nicholas and Lynn (Michel El-Khabbaz, family: Tanya, Maria); his siblings, Elie (Rola Souaibi) and Nicole (Antoine Salem, family: Gaby, Mikhael Afif Matar); his brother-in-law Melhem Afif Matar (Lara Chahwan); and his daughter-in-law Maha (Vincent El-Boustani, family: Melanie).
A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Mary's Antiochian Orthodox Church (120 Gouin Est (Angle Grande Allée), Montréal, QC H3L 2H8). A reception was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex (222 Boulevard des Laurentides, Laval, QC H7G2T6). A burial was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at the Laval Cemetery (5505 Rang du Bas-Saint-François, Laval, QC H7E4P2).
