With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald Hirsh (Montréal, Québec), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 4, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sibling Shirley Hirsh; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Zentner and Usher Zentner. He is survived by: his wife Freda Zentner; his children, Gail (Jeff Spunt), Cheryl Hirsh, Tina (Alan Kholos) and Glen (Sofia Hirsh); his grandchildren, Adam, Ali Spunt, Michael, Nina Spunt, Zachary, Alex Richman, Matthew, Andra Richman, Cameron, Carlyn Kholos, Jonathan and Jeremy Hirsh; his great grandchildren, Tommy, Lucy, Steven, Ryder, Raye, Blake and Liam; his brother Harvey; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Alce, Max, Sam and Tova Zentner. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, family, friends.
