She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Max Frolic and Herta Abramovitz; her husband Edward Wallen; her sons, David (Leslie) and Andrew; her grandchildren, Ross, Greer, Max, Henry and Hope; her sibling Professor Bernie Frolic (Irene); and her friends, Joy, Al Rudolph, Dorothy and Eddie Stossel.
Her family welcomes donations in her memory to The Toronto Public Library Foundation towards the purchase of crime and mystery novels, her favourites.
