We are sad to announce that, on August 2, 2024, Harvey Zalter (Montréal, Québec) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Harvey shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Harvey farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ruthie Markdorf; his children, Michael Zalter (Kevin Wu), Suzan Zalter (Harley Oberfeld) and Debbie (Carl Hilgerdenaar); his siblings, Joey (Linda Zalter), Roslyn (Morty Elman) and Lenny (Sheila Zalter); and his sister-in-law Judy Azran. He was also cherished by his nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
