He was predeceased by: his parents, Deena Eiley and Isaac Eiley; his brothers, Stanley Eiley of Montreal and Ray Karvat of Montreal; and his niece Miriam Karvat.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Brahm (Alexia), Susan (Barry Simon) and Janet Karp (Jeff Karp); his nephews, David, Stuart, Mark and Jack Karvat; and his niece Stephanie Eiley.
