We announce the death of Ida DiBenedetto Forchilli (Montréal, Québec), who passed away on October 7, 2026. Ida will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roberto Forchilli. She is survived by: her children, Marisa, Alida, Linda (Sergio) and Luciano (Lina); her grandsons, Robert (Sabrina), Stephen (Alison) and Marcello; her great grandchildren, Maya, Mila, Ava and Clara; and her sister Dorina. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex (6700 Rue Beaubien E, Montréal, QC H1M1B2). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of the Funeral Complex.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
