She was predeceased by: her husband Simon Peritz; her parents, Joseph Korec and Rozalia Korec; and her sister Olga Sher. She is survived by: her caregivers, Diane and Shilleen; her children, Nina (Tony), Paul (Dominique), Ingrid (Josh) and David (Alicia); and her grandchildren, Eric (Elleanor), Darron (Hemin), Jonathan and Daniel.
A funeral service was held on Monday, February 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Paperman & Sons (3888 Rue Jean-Talon Ouest, Montreal, QC H3R 2G8). A reception was held on Monday, February 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Le Romema (6403 Bd Décarie, Montréal, QC H3W3E1).
