He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jewel Sarna and Lazar Sarna; his siblings, Tova (Gerald Segal), Rabbi Yehuda (Michelle Sarna), Noah (Josa Sarna), Naomi (Jessy Benbaruk) and Rabbi Ezra (Chedva Sarna); and his nieces and nephews, Talia, Michael, Sammy, Michi, Ilan, Batya, Maayan, Moshe, Daveed, Amital, Hillel, Yonatan, Hannah, Ayla, Ariel, Baby, Eitan, Nava, Levi, Rachel, Yisrael, Avi, Shua, Tehila and Chana Leba.
A shiva was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 8:30 AM, at 3:55 PM and on Tuesday, December 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 316 Dufferin Road. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 24th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Paperman & Sons (3888 Rue Jean-Talon O, Montréal, QC H3R2G8).
