She was predeceased by: her husband Hugh Shettler; her parents, Lily and Robert; and her brothers, Robert and Ronald.

She is survived by: her children, Andy (Danièle), Laurie and Jamie (Karen); her grandchildren, Michèle (Travis), Erin, Matthew (Stephanie), Annie (Pierre-Luc), Michael (Amélie), Robert (Caroline) and Caitlin (Sereen); and her great grandchildren, Mason, Luca, Zoé, Callum, Mylo and Nora. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews and numerous relatives and friends.
