She was predeceased by: her parents, Victorien Pelchat and Thérèse Darveau. She is survived by: her husband Gordon Guiry; her children, Philippe Johnson (Stéphanie Chartrand) and Stéphanie Johnson (Adam Thomson); her grandchildren, Charles, Frédérique, Catherine, Olivia, Charlotte and Ella; her stepchildren, Kim, Liana and Kevin; and her friends, Pierre Marot (Hélène Filiatrault) and Françoise Bertrand.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Complexe Funéraire Mont-Royal (1297 Chem. de la Forêt, Outremont, QC H2V2P9). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites those who wish to do so to make a donation to the Montreal Association for the Blind of the Lethbridge-Layton-Mackay Rehabilitation Centre through the Habilitas Foundation (https://habilitas.ca), or to Chaînon.
