She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Shapiro and Leora Guterman-Shapiro. She is survived by: her husband Kevin Callahan; her son Daniel Shapiro-Callahan; her sister Josine; her brother-in-law Andrew Clateman; and her sibling's child Hobbes Clateman.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Neiges Cemetery (4601 Chem. de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montréal, QC H3V1E7).
