He was predeceased by: his parents, Marguerite Kollmar and Erwin Kollmar of Köln; his grandson Joseph; and his great grandchildren, Gilead and Zayne.

He is survived by: his wife Ingrid Sante; his children, Oliver (Jennifer), Melanie, Tabitha (Jeffrey), Marguerite (Andrew), James (Nora), Stephanie and Deborah; and his siblings, Iris (Lionel) of Windsor and Juergen (Dagmar) of Köln, Germany.. He is also survived by Opa are 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
