With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leola Marie (Ward) Young of Montréal, Québec, who passed away on July 26, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmond Ward and Stella Ward (Lanteign); her husband Harold Young; and her sisters, Delia, Anita and Rita.

She is survived by: her daughters, Gail Young of Montreal and Tracey Galley (Roger) of Russellville; her grandchildren, Nathan, Amber Skye, Parker and Joshua; and her siblings, Adeodat Ward of Lameque, Annette Ward (late Claude) of Miscou Island and Stella Ward (late Daniel) of Quebec. She is also survived by her family and friends.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Miramichi Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit, or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
