We announce the death of Leung Wai Lam in Montréal, Québec, who passed away on August 25, 2026, at the age of 88. Leung will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Leung will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Leung will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Leung’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He is survived by: his wife Sui Chun Lam; his daughters, Ivy (Adam) and Holly (Derek); and his grandsons, Oliver and Clifford.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Centre Funéraire Côte-Des-Neiges (4525 Chem. de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montréal, QC H3V1E7).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Leung Wai's memory to the Association pulmonaire du Québec (Quebec Lung Association) to support lung disease research, education, and patient care.
