She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Roth and Sadie Roth. She is survived by: her spouse Professor Bernard Shapiro; her children, Jackie Kwitko (David Greenway) and Dr. Geoffrey (Paula Kwitko); her sisters, Eleanor Roth and Frances (Stan Schill); her sibling-in-law Professor Harold Shapiro; her grandchildren, Alexandra Greenway, Michael Kwitko, Daniel and Melissa Kwitko; her caregivers, Denise, Stephanie, Zibu, Elizabeth, Tamica, Irene and Lois; Marvin, Andrea Shapiro, Arlene and Lorne Cooper.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 4th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Paperman & Sons (3888 Rue Jean-Talon O, Montréal, QC H3R2G8). For information about Shiva, please contact the family.
