He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Grill (Barmash) and Alex Grill; his parents-in-law, Bessy (Miller) and Benjamin Polowin; his siblings, Fay, Ben Bauer and David Grill; and his siblings-in-law, Chuck Polowin, Dave, Betty Polowin, Anne Polowin, Hyman, Gladys Polowin, Sheila, Eric Hammer, Alex and Kathleen Polowin.
He is survived by: his wife Freda Polowin; his children, Charles Grill (Danielle Nadeau), Peter Grill (Wendy Slutsky), Elizabeth Grill (Jeff Kolovsky) and Debra Grill (Lorne Miller); his grandchildren, Ashley, Spencer Miller, Matthew, Kailey Kolovsky, Tyler, Harrison Grill, Bradley, Adam (Donna) and Bryan Grill; his great grandchild Davey Ace Grill; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry, Helen Polowin and Malca.
