He was predeceased by: his daughter Paula Briatstein. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Steinberg; his daughter Lara Braitstein; his grandchildren, Zusha (Chanie), Malka (Josh), Menachem Mendel (Tova), Rebecca, Yoseeph Yitzchak, Simcha, Abigail, Gabriel Cecil and Moishe Reuven; his great grandchildren, Itai, Esther Leah, Liam and Ezra; his stepchildren, Doug Raphael (Amy Ornstein) and Bracha Bettoun (David Bettoun); and his sibling's children, Shenkier and Squire.
