Though Maria may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her husband Peter; and her brothers, Dionisios (Eugenia), Costa (Maria), Ioannis (Maria) and Jimmy (Angie).
She is survived by: her children, Angie (George Tsimiklis) and Johnny; and her sister-in-law Angie (Jimmy). She is also survived by her cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Yves Legare Funeral Complexe (7200 Bd Newman, LaSalle, QC H8N1X2). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St-Dionysios Greek Orthodox Church (7707 Bd LaSalle, LaSalle, QC H8P1Y5).
Memorial donations in honor of Maria may be made to the Cedars Cancer Foundation, or to Maison Sault-Saint-Louis Pour Soins Palliatifs.
