It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mario Strizzolo (Montréal, Québec), who passed away on June 8, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Mario departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Mario. Though Mario may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his wife Gina Drescig Strizzolo; his daughters, Marisa (George) and Doris (Eugenio); his grandchildren, Mathew (Michelle) and Elisa; and his great grandchildren, Luca and Sofia. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex (10300 Bd Pie-IX, Montréal-Nord, QC H1H3Z1). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Complexe Funéraire Pieix (10300 Bd Pie-IX, Montréal-Nord, QC H1H3Z1).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Santa Cabrini Foundation.
