He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Esther Neumann; his children, Jonathan Niederhoffer (Blair Shegelski) and Naomi Niederhoffer (Gedalya Frankel); his sibling Fay; his sibling-in-law Arnie Niederhoffer; his niece Karen; and his nephew Joel. He was also cherished by his family, friends.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Paperman and Sons (3888 Rue Jean-Talon Ouest, Montreal, QC H3R 2G8).
